Option 1:

Film sponsorship taglines. For just £450, your tagline will appear in the top right of the screen within the first two minutes of your chosen film for a minimum of 20 seconds and again towards the end of the film for another 20 seconds with an audio of the film's  narrator thanking your business for sponsoring the film. Your business will also be included in the end credits. The taglines, like the film, will remain indefinitely on the channel giving you continuous presence 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, year after year at no extra cost giving you unrivalled marketing value. 

Option 2:

Film sponsorship: You can sponsor a film which includes a commercial for your business of up to 45 seconds which we can produce for you and which will be shown within the first 3 minutes of the film. Your commercial, like the film in which it appears, will remain indefinitely on the channel/YouTube giving you continuous presence 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, year after year at no extra cost giving you unrivalled marketing value. The cost of this option is £900.* 

Option 3:

Films made specifically about your business: Provided your business is based in Scotland,* we can make a film entirely about your business which will be shown on the channel indefinitely.* We will script and shoot the film at your business location(s), edit it and add narration as well as background music to create a professional film which explores how your business began, what you do, information about your products or services and interviews with key people in your business to tell the story of your enterprise. The cost of this option is £1,500* and we can also create a shorter promotional film for your own use for an additional £150.

Option 4:

Website Advertising: We offer a range of advertising opportunities on our website thescotlandchannel.tv including website sponsorship or individual advertisements on our website home page and other pages too! Rates start at £120 per year, per advertisement which includes the cost of producing the advertisement artwork on your behalf. We can also accept advertisements produced by the client, subject to approval. Ask us for details!

Rates quoted for Option 3 are for businesses based in Scotland only. 

For north of Scotland and Island businesses, additional charges apply to cover the cost of travel to and from your location.

We can also accept commercials produced by the client, subject to approval.

T&Cs at a glance

1. Option 3 is only available to businesses based in Scotland.

2. Rates quoted include production of the commercial/film for businesses based in mainland Scotland except Ross & Cromarty, Sutherland and Caithness. For businesses based in Ross & Cromarty, Sutherland and Caithness or on any of the Scottish islands including the Hebrides, Orkney and Shetland, the rate quoted excludes the cost of travel to your location and accommodation costs during filming which will be quoted separately. 

3. A proof of the completed commercial (option 2)/film (option 3) will be forwarded to the client for approval. The commercial (option 2) must be approved by the deadline date set and the client will be asked to sign off the commercial after which no more changes or alterations can be made. For option 3, films will be scheduled only when the client has signed off the film after which, no changes can be made. 

4. Cancellations can only be accepted up until two weeks before the date of filming. Full refunds cannot be given after this time although partial refunds (excluding costs such as ferries or accommodation) may be given up until 48 hours before filming after which, no refunds can be given.

5. For options 1 and 2, commercials cannot be removed once the film is scheduled to go live and will remain on the film indefinitely.

6. For option 3, films may be removed at the request of the client after release on the channel.

7. Films must also comply with YouTube T&Cs.

8. We accept no responsibility for interruptions to service due to circumstances outwith our control including removal or suspension of individual films or of The Scotland Channel from the YouTube platform by YouTube.
